Basically, transactions are one day a week, on Sundays, and 80% of each team’s weekly moves shall be made in a single 15-minute real time window (from 9 to 9:15 p.m.) where priority is based solely on reversed standings from previous day. Commissioner enters everything with stat service; just show up and play.

Blind Vickery FAAB Bidding

Use Blind Vickery FAAB Bids to make both waiver claims and First Round Free Agent Acquisition on Sundays.

Auction begins promptly on Sunday, February 17th at 10 a.m.

6 X 6 categories. 46 roster slots per team. This is a General Manager/Team Owner styled League, not one where a Daily Manger sets lineups. If they’re on your team they’re generating stats every day.

Each Team can keep up to 15 players from season to season, including Topper Rights.

The Blitz Shortly After Sunday Gloamings

Eight lightning rounds of moves in a 15-minute blitzkrieg burning with boundless blunder, bloody bravado, and brassy brilliance. Show us your Fantasy baseball agility from 9 to 9:15 p.m.

Rounds

The eight 2-minute rounds begin promptly at 9:00, 9:02, 9:04, 9:06, 9:08, 9:10, 9:12, and 9:14.

Nominations

No new nominations the last 59 seconds of each 2-minute blitz round

Priority

Priority is based on reverse order of Saturday’s standings.

Limits

Limit is one successful winning bid per team per round.

Upstairs and Downstairs; Six out of 13 Winners each season

Upstairs and Downstairs Under one Zero Sum Roto Roof: After 26-weeks two owners will move upstairs in Roto weight class, while another two move downstairs. Six of our 13 teams will excel each season. Relegation and Promotion within a 2-division format makes our League more fun for the entire season. There will always be exactly 6 teams in Heavy Weights and 7 in Light-Heavy Weights. Ours is a highly competitive League.

Big Al and Sunday- Sunday- Sunday

Make all your good Roto intentions a reality on Sundays. In a single day turn a week’s worth of your Roto feelings, suspicions, hunches, and theories (often called Roto Fancies by your competitors), well, into victory. The greatest thinker of the 20th century, Big Al, said genius is not having an idea; genius is making an idea a reality.

Blind Vickery Bids

Both Waiver Claims and First Round Free Agent Acquisitions are made using Blind Vickery FAAB Bids delivered via Private League Message on or before 1 minute after midnight on Saturday night/Sunday morning for Waiver Claims and another bid on or before 7 p.m. on Sundays for First Round Free Agent Acquisitions.

Zero Dollar Bids

You can make a zero dollar FAAB bid even when you don’t have a single buck left in FAAB, except in August when all zero bids are prohibited.

Winning Bid > $9

If the winning bid is greater than $9, then the amount deducted from the winner’s FAAB shall be the greater of $1 or the 2nd highest bid, if any, on the same player plus a $1.

Winning Bid < $10

If the winning bid is less than $10, including zero, then the amount deducted from the winning bidder’s FAAB is the exact amount of his winning bid.

Tie Breaker

When there are ties for the highest bid, then the player shall be awarded to the team lowest in the standings at the end of Saturday’s games.

August Dog Days Salary Specials For Those Teams Who Continue To Be Active LATE in the Season

A player’s salary acquired in August by First Round Free Agent Acquisition and Waiver Claim shall be the LOWER of the amount of the winning Blind Vickery FAAB bid or $7. However, the player’s contract status remains the same. a) Zero FAAB bids are not allowed on August Sundays.

Roto-Rule 5 Three/Round Draft on eve of first World Series game.

The only players not subject to the Draft are Toppers for the next season.

How many players can I protect?

Each team can protect 25 non-topper players, including those reserved at the end of the preceding season. Players not selected in the 3-Round Draft remain on the original rosters until the Freeze Roster Deadline.

When do I have to list my protected players?

The protected 25 will be listed by each team on the League Message Board by midnight of the night following the last regular season game.

Draft Process

The Draft begins at 9 p.m. on the eve of the First World Series Game. Each team has no more than 30 seconds to make their selection in each round. The selections are made in reverse order of the final standings. A team may choose to pass if they decide not to make a selection in any round.

Cost of Doing Business In The Draft

All players selected will immediately have their salaries increased by $1 and be placed on their new team’s roster. Each selection will cost the new team $5 to be paid to the team that loses the player. All Monies come from the next season’s beginning FAAB balances.

Keep 'Em or Give 'Em Back

By midnight on the eve of the subsequent Off-Season Trading Party all players that were selected must be put on their team’s freeze roster or given back to the original team. There is no refund of FAAB and the salary remains at the $1 increased amount.

In the post-PED injury endemic era

Even though all other non-trade moves are limited to one day per week, activating your own Roto team’s reserved player by 9 p.m. any night is effective with the next day’s games.

$20+ DL = REDEMPTION

If a player is bought for at least $20 in the current season’s Auction AND subsequent to Auction Day is placed on an MLB Disabled List his Roto team may release him before he is activated by his MLB team and redeem a portion of his current salary as an in-season FAAB Bonus.

If You Have A Man-Crush, you can keep a player his entire career, provided every 3rd season you pay him like a free agent in the market place.

Player contracts are for 2 seasons, PLUS Topper Rights for a third, so you could keep a player you have man-love for his entire career, if and only if you are willing to include his Topper Rights in your limited Freeze Roster and pay one dollar more than the rest of the league on the subsequent Auction Day.

FAAB Bonuses

Show up for On-LIne Trading Party; Second Division Teams earn a weekly FAAB Bonus; Blitz and Blind Vickery Bidding FAAB participation bonuses can be earned in the first half of our season and paid in the 2nd half.

Dump Not, Waste Not Our Pennant Race

We use a limited, yet effective 2nd half Anti-Dumping Rule.

Play 'em, Trade 'em, or Waive 'em

Unlimited DL spots, but can't hide players later activated by their MLB team. Remember no bench.

Two Roster Expansion Swing Men

Roster Expansion always begins with the first transaction Sunday on or after September 1.

Each season within 2 weeks of Auction Day there will be one 40 minute Mock Auctions using our Auction Room to allow owners to either acquaint or reacquaint themselves with the process of our Auction software.
